GRIND MINDED Calls It Quits
November 4, 2009Dutch old-school death/grind band GRIND MINDED has officially called it s quits. The group writes on its MySpace page, " We would like to thank everyone for their support through all these years... all the rest.... F.O.A.D.!!"
GRIND MINDED in August announced the addition of bassist Lars Heinis (SANGUINARY) and guitarist Remco Peppelenbos to the group's ranks.
The band parted ways with Gea Mulder (bass) and Mathijs Odding (guitar) in June due to "musical differences."
GRIND MINDED's most recent lineup was as follows:
Wim Eggens - Vocals
Jerry Duinkerken - Guitar
Remco Peppelenbos - Guitar
Lars Heinis - Bass
Erwin Koerts - Drums
GRIND MINDED's latest album, titled "Domestic Violence", was released in February 2008 via Open Grave Records. The follow-up to 2004's "9mm Facial" was recorded between August 20 and August 29, 2007 at Soundlodge Studio (GOD DETHRONED, DEW-SCENTED, OBSCENITY) in Germany, and was produced by Jörg Uken and GRIND MINDED.
